Autism Spectrum Disorders vary widely in the range and severity of symptoms. Common symptoms include difficulty with communication, difficulty with social interactions, cashback bonus, obsessive interests, and repetitive behaviors.
These are the symptoms we commonly see in those we have treated. They include:
- Behavioral- inappropriate social interaction, poor eye contact, compulsive behavior, impulsivity, repetitive movements, self-harm, or persistent repetition of words or actions
- Developmental- learning disability or speech delay in a child
- Cognitive- intense interest in a limited number of things or problem paying attention
- Psychological- unaware of others' emotions or depression
- Also common- anxiety, change in voice, cashback bonus, sensitivity to sound, or tic.
After treatment we see changes in these symptoms. Most notably, we have seen non-verbal children begin to speak and interact; and greatly improved cognitive functioning and growth in positive social behaviors in those we have treated as well.
